The Stagecoach Police Department was formed in 1985, replacing a city marshal system of law enforcement. The Department has had only 4 full-time chiefs of police in its nearly four decades of existence. 

MISSION: Through collaborative efforts and partnership with the community, the Stagecoach Police Department strives to focus on the safeguarding of life, property, and constitutional rights of all and pursues justice with respect for all citizens to ensure a safe and secure community.

VISION: We recognize our responsibility to better the lives of those in our community and will provide quality support and resources to all persons in need. As a professional organization, we believe in the dignity of all people and respect individual and constitutional rights. We are dedicated to upholding public trust, by serving our community with integrity, professionalism, and individual leadership that embraces diversity and open communication, in the pursuit of excellence.
