Bulk items will be picked up curbside in accordance with the service agreement for your area.

Weekly Service Tips
Recyclables can be placed out in containers that are clearly identified with a recycling emblem. Please contact our office if you need a recycling sticker to identify your containers.
If you need to bag your recyclables, we do require 100% transparent recycling bags for safety purposes.
On windy days, place your lightweight recyclables in 100% transparent recycling bags and set it in the recycling bin (this prevents items from blowing out and across the yard and street)
If your trash and recycling services are on the same day, please place your recycling at least 6 feet away from your trash.
Lids can remain on plastic bottles or be removed and placed in the recycling.
Please rinse any residue from containers
Please breakdown any medium and large cardboard boxes
Please remember we cannot take any type of Styrofoam products (packing peanuts, cups, plates, egg cartons, etc.)
No need to separate items – everything goes into the same recycling bin
Unacceptable Items Unfortunately, not everything in our homes fall under the “household recycling” heading and so there are items which cannot be accepted on the weekly routes. These items either fall under the hazardous waste umbrella or simply just not recyclable.

The landfill accepts most bulk construction and demolition materials, including wood, lumber, trees, wire, dirt, concrete, bricks, plastic, metals, green waste, roofing materials, furniture, cloth linen material and appliances with Freon removed.
The landfill does not accept household trash or hazardous waste, including medical waste, liquids, sludge, paints, whole tires, batteries, drums and asbestos-containing materials.
The minimum charge is $36, which covers the first 4 cubic yards of waste. Each cubic yard over the minimum is $9 per cubic yard. For reference, a pickup truck bed filled with trash that is piled no higher than the top of the truck’s cab is considered 4 cubic yards.
Normally the landfill does not provide assistance with unloading. However, additional rental products and services can be arranged through the central dispatcher at 281-491-7775.
All landfill customers must wear a reflective safety vest to enter the landfill. If they do not have one, they will have safety vests for sale for $5 at the gate entrance. Also, no children under the age of 14 are allowed entry to the landfill.
